Mission:

An expedition to Mt. Everest was undertaken with the goal to clean up the base station and to remove old oxygen tanks. TV2 Sweden accompanied Göran Kropp, a famous alpinist on this mission. The progress of the work was broadcasted in daily live reports back to Sweden.

The SCOTTY Mobile was chosen because it fulfilled the tough weight and flexibility requirements of the mission. As the base station is only accessible by yak, the customer needed a light and powerful broadcasting system, enabling them to transmit video/audio/data simultaneously. |
