Plymouth Dakar Challenge 2005

In order to raise money for the Children‘s Hospice South West (UK) the drivers of Team Babe Magnet embarked on a 4,000 mile trip from Devon (UK) to Gambia (West Africa).
Their daily progress and experiences were reported on their website to encourage further donations and to keep their fans, friends and sponsors up to date. Footage for a video documentary was also provided.

Technical:

Using the SCOTTY Mobile and EMS Storm antenna for satellite connection the drivers were able to record videoclips and send them to a British Broadcasting Corporation. They compiled diary reports and send pictures to their webmaster.
