SCOTTY Satcom Computer System - LRU
The SCOTTY Satcom Computer System ("SCS") offers the complete SCOTTY package as an Arinc 600 ready-to-fly line replaceable unit ("LRU"). This DO160 E certified system has been especially designed for multiple beyond line-of-sight airborne applications such as video communications, live or store & forward video surveillance, fleet planning/tracking, data transfer, internet, fax, etc.
The SCS is compatible to all high-speed Inmarsat systems and both the new IP over satellite Swift Broadband service as well as the ISDN-based Swift 64 service. SCOTTY even has a proprietary "Live Bonding" system to make it easy to bundle up to four 64 kbit/s channels. Furthermore, because the SCS includes a Windows PC, it can be used as a data work station and an onboard communication hub. In combination with other SCOTTY Arinc units, it is also compatible to NATO standard encryption equipment.
Live video, store & forward video, data, voice, IP - the SCOTTY Computer System lets you do it from the air and beyond line-of-sight. This is the complete SCOTTY package in a ready-to-fly unit.
