SCOTTY UAV SATCOM Unit
The SCOTTY UAV SATCOM Unit has been especially designed to provide beyond line-of-sight data communication and video surveillance from very small aircraft such as UAV's.
SCOTTY, together with Cobham Satcom, offers the ability to monitor aircraft systems, set navigation commands, remotely control the airborne camera, create and access recorded video and high definition photos, and see real-time live video.
This is done by using the Inmarsat Swift BroadBand IP over satellite service at up to 432 kbit/s.
The SCOTTY UAV SATCOM Unit is an all-in-one, very compact and light, and easy to install system which makes beyond-the-horizon unmanned surveillance missions possible.
